This guide explains how to connect your Vrbo to Smoobu, enabling seamless synchronization of bookings via iCal. Vrbo's connection to Smoobu does not include the sync of Vrbo messages, pricing, guest details (phone number, email) and financial details on each booking.
Step-by-Step
1) In Smoobu, click Channels in the left menu, search for Vrbo, click Connect on the far right of the Vrbo row.
2) Copy the link on the left labeled Smoobu iCal.
3) Open a new browser tab, log in to Vrbo.com, and go to your Calendar.
4) Click the Import & Export icon.
5) Select Import a Calendar.
6) Paste the Smoobu iCal link, choose Block, and click Next.
7) Enter a name for the calendar (e.g., Smoobu) and click Import.
8) Click the Import & Export icon again, then select Export a Calendar.
9) Make sure Include tentative bookings is not ticked, then copy the link provided.
10) Go back to Smoobu and paste this link into the field under “Paste the portal link below”.
⚠️ Important: Please note that booking syncs are done in cycles and not in “real time”.

I'm having trouble connecting prices to Vrbo. Can I manually block my calendar in Vrbo to prevent bookings at the currently incorrect rates, or will that overwrite my Smoobu calendar via the ical link (which was successful)?

This isnt working for me...I have done the connections as described, but for some reason VRBO doesnt even show on the calendars page, and it is not updating the pricing.

Hi, I am in the process of setting vrbo up and wonder if the price sync is working at the moment. I noticed different instructions on how to sync prices on another page stating that it needs to be done per month. Can you tell me what to do to sync prices? Thanks
we are waiting for *** years *** for full VRBO sync - we were told definitely before the end of this year - are you even going to bother updating all of you customers that are waiting ?
