You click Go to Editor on the Website Builder page and nothing happens: no editor, no new tab. Or the editor opens, but parts of it are locked. Check the points below; if the editor still won't open, this can only be fixed by our customer service team.
First, check
- Is it really the website editor? This article is about the design tool behind the Go to Editor button in Configuration > Website Builder. If you can't log in to Smoobu itself (your email and password aren't accepted), that is a different problem: see cant-log-in-to-smoobu.
The editor opens, but some sections say "View only"
This is expected, not a fault. Sections with a black View only tag display content that comes from your Smoobu settings: your texts, property details, and photos. You edit those in Smoobu under Configuration > Website Builder (the Website Content and Accommodations tabs), not in the editor. edit-your-website explains which edits happen where.
The editor won't open
If Go to Editor does nothing, or the editor loads but stays empty or broken, this can only be fixed by our customer service team. Contact Smoobu Support and describe what happens when you click the button.
Check it's fixed
Clicking Go to Editor opens the visual editor showing your website's pages.

- The Booking ID, if it's about one booking (Bookings, then View more).
- The channel name, if it's about channel sync (Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, and so on).
- A short step-by-step: what you did, what you expected, and what happened.
- Screenshots or a short screen recording of the problem.
- Your browser and operating system, if something looks wrong on screen.
