This guide explains how to set up an automated message in Smoobu to request a remaining balance from guests. Once set up, Smoobu will check if a booking’s payment is incomplete and only then send a message to the guest. This is especially useful if you work with deposits or partial prepayments and want to streamline your balance collection process.
Step-by-Step
1) Open the Booking Preview
💡 Tip: To open the Booking Preview, click on the booking and then click Edit Booking.
2) Click the Price dropdown
3) Enter the amount of the prepayment you’ve received, then tick the box to confirm that it has been received.
