What the Smoobu Dynamic Pricing Upgrade Means for Me

On March 24, we’re upgrading our Smoobu Dynamic Pricing algorithm to help you capture more revenue and maximize occupancy. This update also introduces a new Price Acceleration Factor, designed to respond more effectively to changes in demand.

What is the Price Acceleration Factor?
In simple terms, it’s a smarter way to adjust prices based on how demand truly impacts what guests are willing to pay.
Instead of only reacting to supply and competitor pricing, the model:
Learns from real booking behavior
Understands how demand evolves over time
Adjusts prices to reflect true market willingness to pay

The model separates and analyzes different demand drivers, including:
Seasonality (high vs. low season)
Day of week (weekdays vs. weekends)
Events (holidays, festivals, and local demand spikes)

If you are already using Smoobu Dynamic Pricing, no action is required. Your account will be automatically upgraded to the new model on March 24, 2026.
