Your nightly rates live in the Pricing calendar. For each property you set a price per night and, if you want, a minimum number of nights a guest must stay. When you are done, one click saves your changes and pushes them out to every connected channel.
Before you start
You need these in place first:
- At least one property in your account. See .
- Any channels you want the prices to reach connected in Smoobu. Prices you set here go to every connected channel automatically.
How the calendar is laid out
The Pricing calendar has one row per property and one cell per night. Each night holds two values: a base price and a minimum length of stay. The minimum stay is counted from the arrival night, so you can require three nights for stays starting on a Friday and one night for stays starting on a Monday. A night with no price is not bookable on channels that need a rate, so set a price for every night you want to sell.
Steps
- Open Pricing from the left sidebar and pick the month you want with the dropdown at the top left.
- To price a single night, click its cell, type the amount, and press Tab or click another cell.
- To set prices or the minimum stay across a stretch of dates, click Change range of dates. Choose the First day and Last day, enter a Price and a Min. nights value (leave either on "No changes" to skip it), pick the properties under Accommodations, and tick the weekdays under Days if the change should only hit, for example, Fridays and Saturdays.
- When your edits are ready, click Synchronize now. This saves your prices and pushes them to every connected channel. To drop your edits instead, click Discard changes.
- Reload the page. The cells only show the new values after a reload.
Check it worked
After you click Synchronize now, the sync process can take a couple of minutes. Reload the page and the cells show the prices you set. Connected channels usually update within a few minutes. To push your current prices again later without changing anything for a specific property, use Synchronize now.
Common problems
I synchronized but I don't see the new prices
The push worked. The calendar just does not refresh on its own after you synchronize, so it keeps showing the old values until you reload. Reload the page and the cells update. The same is true for booking-bar prices on the Calendar.
My edits disappeared
Edits are only kept once you synchronize. If you reload the page before clicking Synchronize now, unsaved edits are lost. Re-enter them and synchronize before you leave the page.
A night won't sell on a channel
A night with an empty price cell is not bookable on channels that require a rate, such as Booking.com or Airbnb. Set a base price for every night you want to be bookable, then synchronize.
My minimum stay is different on one channel
The minimum stay you set in Pricing is global: it applies to all your connected channels at once. Smoobu cannot set a different minimum per channel. If you need, for example, two nights on Booking.com but one night on Airbnb, set the minimum for that channel directly in the channel's own extranet.
