This guide explains the guest online check-in and registration options available in Smoobu. It covers how to use Smoobu’s built-in Online Check-in form as well as external integrations for managing check-in processes and sending guest data to the authorities.
Option 1) Use Smoobu's Online Check-in form
Smoobu’s Online Check-in form can be configured under Experience → Online Check-in. Here, you can choose which information guests are required to provide, including the option to request a passport or ID photo by enabling the Attachments checkbox during setup.
If guest data must be submitted to a government or police platform, this process needs to be done manually.

Option 2) Use an external integration

Description: Smoobu and CheKin.com accounts are connected, in order for the whole process to be automated. That is, even sending the data to the government / police when necessary.
This integration has an additional cost of 3.50€/month per property and covers what CheKin.com calls a Basic plan.
