Yes. Switch on the Review feature in your Guest Guide, and guests can rate their stay after they check out. These reviews are for you alone: Smoobu keeps them inside your account and never publishes them anywhere.
Before you start
- A Guest Guide that is switched on, with its link reaching your guests. Set up your digital Guest Guide explains how to set that up.
Steps
- Open Experience > Guest Guide.
- Go to Features.
- Switch on Review and save.
Check it worked
Open the Guest Guide preview. Review now shows up there for the guest. By default they only see it after they check out.
When a guest leaves a review, Smoobu emails you at the address on your Smoobu account. Once one has been left, you find it in the booking details for that stay.
These reviews stay inside Smoobu
Hosts often expect this to work differently, so here it is plainly.
A Guest Guide review is private feedback to you. Smoobu never sends it to Airbnb, Booking.com, any other channel or your own website, and no setting makes it public. If you want public reviews on your website, there is a different way to do that: Show your Airbnb and Booking.com reviews on your website.
It is also separate from the review requests Airbnb sends out automatically after a stay. Those are Airbnb's own, they keep working as they always did, and this setting changes nothing about them.
Common problems
The guest says there was nothing to rate
Smoobu never asks the guest to leave a review. Review only shows up inside the Guest Guide, which the guest has to open themselves, and only after they check out. They get no message and no notification about it.
So check that the Guest Guide is switched on, that Review is active under Features, and above all that the guest received the guide link and opened it.
