If you already have prices in a connected channel, or you want to reuse this year's rates for next year, you don't have to type them all again. The Pricing > Settings menu has two tools for this: Import prices pulls rates from a channel into Smoobu, and Transfer prices copies one year's rates onto a later year. Both can apply an optional adjustment as you go.
Before you start
- The Settings button on the Pricing page only appears once you have at least one channel added. Adding the channel is enough; you do not need to connect a listing.
- Both tools move your rates. Neither one moves discounts, promo codes, or fees. To set those up, see and .
Import prices from a connected channel
Use this when you already keep prices on a channel such as Booking.com and want those to become your rates in Smoobu.
- Open Pricing, click Settings, and choose Import prices.
- Pick the From / To year range you want to import.
- Choose the channel under Channels and the properties under Accommodations.
- Optionally set a Price adaption before import: a flat amount or a percentage applied as the rates come in.
- Confirm the import.
Smoobu removes the channel's own markup as it imports, so the rate that lands in your calendar is your base price rather than the marked-up figure the channel showed. For example, if you mark Airbnb up by 10% and import a 110 EUR night, Smoobu stores 100 EUR.
Copy this year's prices to a later year
Use this when you want next season to start from the rates you already set.
- Open Pricing, click Settings, and choose Transfer prices.
- Pick the target year (you can transfer up to two years ahead).
- Choose the properties under Accommodations.
- Optionally add a Price adjustment: a flat amount or a percentage uplift applied to every copied night.
- Click Save.
Transfer copies rates by exact date, not by weekday. If you charge more for Fridays and Saturdays, those weekend nights will land on different weekdays next year, so check and fix your weekend prices after transferring.
Push the new prices to your channels
Importing or transferring changes your rates in Smoobu, but it does not send them out on its own. To push the new rates to every connected channel, open Pricing > Settings > Percentage adjustment and click Overwrite Prices. More on that push in .
Check it worked
Open the Pricing calendar for the year you imported or transferred into and reload the page. The cells show the copied rates, adjusted by any amount or percentage you set. After you run Overwrite Prices, connected channels update within a few minutes.
Common problems
My weekend prices are wrong after transferring to next year
This is expected. Transfer copies each rate to the same calendar date a year later, and a date that was a Saturday this year is a different weekday next year. Re-set your weekend prices for the new year in the rate calendar.
I wanted to move a discount to a new property, not the rates
Transfer prices moves nightly rates only. It does not carry discounts, promo codes, or fees. Set up any discounts on the new property directly: see .

Adaptation is not clear... so need an example of what to put in the Adaptation field. It is not clear if it is a discount applied to the imported price, or a percentage of the imported price.
