How do I enter direct bookings and blocked periods?
Updated
This guide walks you through how to manually add direct bookings and block off unavailable dates in your calendar.
You might be wondering—what’s the difference between the two? A direct booking is a reservation made outside of booking portal or your website, such as someone booking through social media or over the phone. A blocked period, on the other hand, is a time when the property is unavailable for booking and not generating revenue—like during maintenance or a personal stay—and it won't be reflected in your Analytics.
Step-by-Step: Adding a Direct Booking
1) Click on Enter booking
2) Choose the correct property
3) Define check-in and check-out date
4) Enter a guest name
5) Optional: add other data such a guest email, language, number of adults and children and Notes
6) Save. Once saved, the reservation will be registered and synchronized with the connected portals.
