Smoobu gives you two ways to handle guest registration. Its own online check-in collects each guest's details before arrival and stores them on the booking. A registration partner goes one step further and files that data automatically to an official platform. Which one you need depends on whether you only want to collect guest details, or also need each registration filed electronically to a government or police platform.
Collect guest data with online check-in
Smoobu's online check-in sends each guest a link to fill in their registration details before they arrive: name, address, identity document, signature, and anything else you add. The data lands on the booking in Smoobu, ready when you need it.
Online check-in collects and stores this data. It does not submit it to any authority for you. For many hosts that is all they need. To set it up, see .
File registrations automatically with a partner
If you need each registration filed electronically to an official platform, connect one of Smoobu's registration partners. A partner collects the guest's data and files it to the right platform for the property's location, so you do not submit each form by hand.
- Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and other countries with a national filing platform: use Chekin. See .
- Austria and Germany (Meldewesen / Meldeschein): use Feratel MeldeClient (see ), or one of the further registration partners AVS or Stellar, both available in the Smoobu Marketplace.
Other registration partners are available in the Smoobu Marketplace, including ChargeAutomation, Check-in Scan and Vikey. Open Marketplace in Smoobu to see which partners are available for your account.
A partner is a separate product from Smoobu's own online check-in. Online check-in captures data; a partner captures data and files it. If your market does not require electronic filing, online check-in on its own is enough.
