You can personalize two pages you use every day: the Home dashboard and the Calendar. Hide the Home panels you don't use, set the view the Calendar opens in by default, and pick which details show on each booking bar. Your Home choices are saved to your Smoobu account, and your default calendar view persists across sessions and devices.
Hide or show panels on your Home page
- Open Home.
- Click Customize at the top right. A small Customize your home panel opens, with a switch for each of six panels.
- Switch off any panel you want to hide. The change applies immediately; there is no Save button.
You can show or hide six panels: Upcoming events, Activity feed, Channel Status, Setup tasks, Resources Hub, and Marketplace. The Setup tasks switch controls the onboarding panel that appears on the page under the heading "First things to do".
These choices are stored on your Smoobu account, not in your browser, so a hidden panel stays hidden on every device you log in from.
Choose your default calendar view
- Open the Calendar.
- Click Customize to open the Calendar customization window.
- Under Default calendar view, pick the view the Calendar opens in: Multi (All properties), Single Monthly, or Single Yearly. This choice persists across sessions and devices.
- Under Navigation, leave Anchor property name column switched on (the default) to keep property names visible as a fixed left column while you scroll through the dates. This helps most when you manage several properties.
- Under Booking preview, switch on the details you want on each booking bar: channel logo, guest name, number of guests, price, number of nights, and a tooltip when you point at a booking. Channel logo, guest name, and the tooltip are on by default.
The three views show your bookings differently:
- Multi (All properties): every property as a row on a horizontal timeline, with 3 months visible. This is the default for new accounts and the best view for spotting gaps and overlaps across your properties.
- Single Monthly: one property in a classic one-month grid, when you want to focus on a single unit.
- Single Yearly: one property as a full-year overview, useful for seeing seasonal patterns.
You don't need Customize to switch views for a moment: the Multi and Single tabs at the top of the Calendar flip between the Multi view and your last-used Single view.
Filter the calendar by channel or label
Click Filters on the Calendar to narrow what you see. Under Channels you can show or hide bookings by source: Direct booking (bookings you entered yourself), Website (bookings made through your Smoobu booking engine), and one entry for each channel you have added, such as Booking.com or Airbnb. Under Labels you can limit the view to properties tagged with specific labels. Use Select all or Clear all to reset.
Check it worked
- On Home, the panel disappears or reappears the moment you flip its switch, and it stays that way after you reload the page.
- On the Calendar, reload the page after changing the default view: the Calendar opens in the view you picked.
- After applying a filter, the booking bars from the deselected channels disappear from the grid; clear the filter and they reappear.
Common problems
A booking bar doesn't show all the details you switched on
The bar only has so much room: Smoobu shows whichever of your selected details fit the length of the booking bar. A short booking of 1 or 2 nights shows only a few details; longer bookings show more. Check a longer booking to confirm your selection is working. This is a space limit, not a wrong setting.
The Activity feed doesn't appear on Home even though its switch is on
The Activity feed panel is included on the Professional and Pro+ plans. If you don't see it on Home at all, check your subscription plan before checking the Customize switch.

Liebes Smoobu Team - Vielen Dank!
How do we center the calendar in iframe when embedding it into our website? By default it aligns to the left and it looks strange that way. I tried adding some different versions of code into the code like 'text-align: center' but I'm not having any luck. Please help.
Thank you.
Hi Filippo
Please note this Resource/Help centre cannot provide 1-to-1 support in the comments section. In the future we recommend you to please open a ticket from your Smoobu session "Help" for quick assistance from the Smoobu team.
Kind regards
Caitriona from Smoobu
Could you please sort our calendar acc. to numbers from Nr.1 to Nr.10. Now you have implemented new type of calendar where our apartments our sorted out of order.
