You can put Smoobu's booking form on a website you already run, on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or anything else, so guests book you directly instead of going through a channel. This page is the map: it walks the stages in the order they make sense and links the article that does each one.
Start here if you are not sure what you need
Smoobu has three different things that can go on a website, and picking the wrong one costs an afternoon. Booking Engine, Website Builder, Calendar iFrame: what each one is for tells you which of them fits what you are trying to do. 1. See what it looks like first
Real Smoobu-powered sites, so you know what you are aiming at before you start. See Do you have any website examples I can see?.
2. Set up the Booking Engine itself
Do this before embedding. The booking form shows your properties, your rules and your prices, and it needs those in place to be worth embedding. See How do I set up my Booking Engine?.
3. Put your prices and minimum stay in
The Booking Engine sells from your Smoobu prices, so these have to exist before a guest can complete a booking. See Set your prices and minimum stay. To set a different price on your own website than on your channels, see Charge a different price on Booking.com, Airbnb, and your website.
4. Choose how guests pay you
Decide which payment methods appear at checkout, and connect the provider behind them. See What payment methods can I offer?, then How do I set up Stripe payments? or How do I integrate PayPal? for the provider you chose.
5. Add your extras and fees
Cleaning fees, local taxes, and anything you sell alongside the stay, such as a late checkout or bike hire. See Offer extras and upsells to your guests.
6. Embed it in your website

7. Make it look like your site

8. Show availability without taking bookings
If all you want on a page is a calendar showing which dates are free, you want the availability widget rather than the full booking form. See Show your availability calendar on your website (Calendar iFrame).
How you know you are set up
Open your own website, complete a booking end to end, and check it lands in your Smoobu calendar. Do it as a real guest would, with a real payment method, then cancel it. How do I make a test booking? walks through that check.
