In this guide, we talk about our integration with Chekin. Chekin helps you register guests and send their data automatically to local authorities (e.g. Alloggiati, SES Hospedajes). Benefits of Chekin include:
Automates legal compliance with local authorities.
Lets guests check in online or on-site.
Saves time by avoiding manual uploads.
Chekin costs:
€3.50 + VAT per property / month (basic plan).
Connection is at account level (all properties are billed).
Billing is handled by Smoobu. Premium features are billed separately by Chekin.
Step-by-Step
1) Click Marketplace > Check-in > Chekin
2) Click Connect
3) You’ll receive an email with your Chekin credentials.
4) Log in to Chekin
5) Go to each property and in the property information.
6) Go to the Legal tab, add your Police / SES Hospedajes / Alloggiati / ISTAT credentials depending on your region for each property.
7) Back in Smoobu, we suggest creating an automated message template under Experience > Communication
💡 Tip: Include the [checkInOnlineUrl] placeholder in your message, which will auto fill with the form for the specific guest. Read detailed instructions here
8) Done
How it works
Booking enters Smoobu → Syncs with Chekin.
Chekin generates a check-in link.
By using the [checkInOnlineUrl] placeholder in your Smoobu message templates, your guest is sent a link to their form.
Guest completes the form.
Data is automatically sent to the authorities (if credentials are connected in Chekin).
⚠️ Important: Links are generated only for bookings within 120 days before check-in.
I would like my money refunded as I have already paid for this application and cannot access this application. i have reset my password 5 times and continue to get the same message

I have followed the instructions on both sites Smoobu and Chekin and nothing. What I do know is that the money has already been taken out of my account and I have been unable to use the software to set up local tax

nothing is really working here - i even don´t get the Chekin -
really the full application here is just a mistake ! what a crap - really NOTHING works here
