This guide explains how promotion stacking works on Booking.com and how multiple eligible discounts can be applied to the same reservation. You'll learn which promotions can be combined, how discounts are calculated, and the eligibility requirements guests must meet to receive stacked discounts.
How Discounts Are Applied
Discounts are applied sequentially, not added together.

Base room rate: €100

Although the individual discounts total 40%, the effective discount is 35.2% because each discount is applied to the reduced price from the previous promotion.
Which Promotions Can Be Combined?
Promotions from different promotion categories can generally be combined.
Examples of commonly stackable promotions include:
- Genius Discount + Mobile Rate
- Genius Discount + Early Booker Discount
- Genius Discount + Last-Minute Deal
- Genius Discount + Mobile Rate + Last-Minute Deal
Promotions within the same category typically do not stack. If multiple promotions of the same type are available, only the most beneficial promotion is applied.
Guest Eligibility Requirements
A guest must qualify for every promotion in the stack for all discounts to be applied.
Examples:

The final displayed price can vary depending on:
- Genius membership status
- Mobile vs. desktop booking

- Room type selected
- Cancellation policy
- Included amenities (such as breakfast)
- Country-specific or targeted promotions
As a result, two guests may see different prices for the same property and dates.
How to add a deal or promotion
- Sign in to the Booking.com Extranet.
- Click Promotions, then Choose new promotion.
- Choose a deal and customise it, then click Set up promotion. You can also choose one of our ready-made campaigns.
- Give your promotion or deal a name, then fill in the details.
- Click Review your promotion.
- Click Activate to complete the setup.
