The Property page score is a checklist in your Booking.com Extranet that shows how complete your listing content is: photos, facilities, breakfast options, languages spoken, and local recommendations. Work through what it flags and your listing shows up in more searches. Booking.com reports that properties reaching 100% get up to 18% more bookings than listings with incomplete content.
Before you start
You need this in place first:
- Access to your Booking.com Extranet account. The score and the checklist live there.
- Time for the content itself, not just the score. Most checklist items ask you to upload something or write something, so have your photos and property details to hand.
Steps
- Log in to your Booking.com Extranet.
- From the main menu, go to Properties.
- Select Property page score.
- Work down the content checklist. Each item comes with a tailored tip telling you what is missing, for example photos to upload or amenities to detail.
- Save your updates.
Check it worked
Reopen Properties > Property page score. Your completeness percentage has risen, and the items you filled in are no longer flagged.
Common questions
Which items should I fix first?
Photos. They are the part of your listing a traveller remembers, and clear, current images also set expectations that your property can actually meet. After that, take the small details you would be tempted to skip: staff languages, local-area information, and your property-type classification. Those are what Booking.com's search filters read, so they decide whether you appear at all for a guest who filters.
Can I fill this in from Smoobu?
No. Smoobu does not send listing content such as photos, descriptions or facilities to your channels, so the page score can only be worked on in the Booking.com Extranet. explains what does travel between Smoobu and your channels. For the facilities item on the checklist, has the steps.
Does a complete page help beyond visibility?
Yes, indirectly. A page that describes exactly what you offer sets correct guest expectations, which means smoother check-ins and fewer disappointed reviews. covers the review side.
