Trip.com appears on Smoobu's Channels page as Trip.com / Ctrip, and the connection runs through your Trip.com account manager: they enable it and give you your Hotel IDs, then you enter the IDs in Smoobu and map your properties. The connect page carries a beta label, "Ctrip.com / Trip.com (BETA)".
Before you start
You need all of these before you connect:
- A Trip.com listing and a contact to your Trip.com account manager. The connection is enabled by Trip.com's team; you can't switch it on yourself.
- Your Hotel IDs from Trip.com. Your account manager provides them.
- Your properties created in Smoobu, under Configuration > Properties.
Availability syncs first, then prices
The connection syncs bookings, availability, and prices, and the order matters: availability has to be syncing before your prices flow to Trip.com. Set up the connection, confirm that availability changes reach Trip.com, and then send your prices. Price changes reach your connected channels when you click Synchronize now in Pricing.
Steps
- Contact your Trip.com account manager. Ask them to enable the connection with Smoobu and to send you your Hotel IDs.
- In Smoobu, open Channels in the left sidebar and click Connect on the Trip.com / Ctrip card.
- Enter your Hotel ID in the field labelled "Property ID (Hotel ID)" and click Save.
- In the Accommodations list, open the Not connected dropdown on each property's row and pick the matching Trip.com listing. Click Reload if your listings don't appear yet, then click Save.
- Add your existing Trip.com bookings in Smoobu manually. There is no initial import: bookings from before the connection don't transfer, only new bookings arrive automatically.
Check it worked
- A booking made on Trip.com after connecting appears in your Smoobu Bookings list with Trip.com shown as the channel, and as a booking bar on your Calendar.
- Block a date in your Smoobu calendar and check that the date becomes unavailable on Trip.com.
Common problems
My prices aren't arriving on Trip.com
Prices only start syncing once availability is syncing; that order is fixed. First confirm availability: block a date in Smoobu and check that it closes on Trip.com. If availability isn't moving either, check your mapping (step 4) and ask your Trip.com account manager whether the connection is fully enabled. Once availability flows, send your prices again with Synchronize now in Pricing.
Bookings from before I connected are missing
There is no initial import for Trip.com. Enter bookings you received before the connection in Smoobu manually; new bookings import automatically.
Trip.com isn't listed in Smoobu's Availability settings
The per-channel Availability settings page covers only some channels, and Trip.com isn't one of them. The connection still syncs your availability; the self-managed controls on that page just aren't offered for Trip.com. Manage those availability controls on Trip.com's side.

Still stuck?
If these steps didn't fix it, contact the Smoobu team: open the Help menu to open a ticket or book a call slot, or use the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. To get the fastest answer, please include:

- The property name or ID, if it's about one property.
- The Booking ID, if it's about one booking (Bookings, then View more).
- The channel name, if it's about channel sync (Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, and so on).
- A short step-by-step: what you did, what you expected, and what happened.
- Screenshots or a short screen recording of the problem.
- Your browser and operating system, if something looks wrong on screen.
