atraveo and e-domizil were sister brands that are now part of Interhome, and the channel appears on Smoobu's Channels page as Interhome (formerly Atraveo). How you connect depends on one thing: whether you were already connected through atraveo (or e-domizil) before the rebrand. There are two cases.
Case 1: You were connected through atraveo before, so you are on the API
If you connected atraveo or e-domizil through Smoobu in the past, the Interhome team migrated your connection when atraveo became Interhome, and you stay connected to Interhome by a direct API link. You don't need to reconnect, and you can skip the steps below; your bookings keep flowing as before.
Case 2: You are new to Interhome, so you connect by iCal
If you were never connected through atraveo and Smoobu, you currently connect using the availability-link (iCal) method: you give the channel Smoobu's availability link so it always sees your current calendar, and the channel fetches your prices from Smoobu by itself. Because prices are fetched rather than pushed, Smoobu's calendar shows N/A as the base price for this channel. That is expected and nothing is missing.
Before you start, you need both of these:
- Your Owner number for your atraveo listing (the connect card calls it the "Atraveo Owner number").
- Your properties created in Smoobu, under Configuration > Properties.
Steps
You only need these steps for case 2 (you are new to Interhome).
- In Smoobu, open Channels in the left sidebar and click Connect on the Interhome (formerly Atraveo) card.
- Add your Owner number on the card. If you have several, add each one.
- Copy the 6-digit number the card shows for your property.
- In your atraveo account, open My Properties, click Edit, and open the Description section. Enter the 6-digit number in the field "Your own property ID of the holiday accommodation". Repeat this for each listing.
- In your atraveo account, go to Interfaces and add Smoobu's availability link. You find it on the Smoobu connect card as "Link to availability interface". Adding the availability link is enough: the reservation interface link needs no action from you, the channel handles that.
- Back in Smoobu, map each listing to the matching Smoobu property in the mapping rows on the card, and save.
Check it worked
- New bookings made on the channel appear in your Smoobu Bookings list with the channel shown, and as booking bars on your Calendar.
- Block a date in your Smoobu calendar. The date becomes unavailable on Interhome after the channel next reads the availability link.
Common problems
Smoobu shows N/A as the base price for this channel
Nothing is wrong. The channel fetches prices from Smoobu rather than Smoobu pushing them, so Smoobu has no pushed base price to display for this channel. Your prices still reach Interhome.
A guest cancelled, but the booking is still in Smoobu
Cancellations don't come across from Interhome automatically: when a guest cancels an Interhome booking, the booking stays in your Smoobu calendar and keeps those dates blocked everywhere until you cancel it yourself. Open the booking in Smoobu and cancel it there. Until this works automatically, make it a habit to cancel Interhome cancellations in Smoobu right away, so the dates open up again for other guests.
Bookings from before I connected are missing
There is no initial import for this channel. Bookings you received before the connection must be entered in Smoobu manually; only future bookings transfer automatically.
